Refund Policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at info@datamarinesupply.com. Please note that returns requests should be sent first by email to info@datamarinesupply.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Any product eligible for a promotional offer (cash rebates or free goods) that has been redeemed is not eligible. You can always contact us for any return questions at info@datamarinesupply.com.

Return Instructions:

After getting confirmation of the return email from us,  repackage the item in its original packaging and ship the items back to us with your copy of the receipt. Clearly written on the outside package to the address provided on the return email. Items containing hazardous material may only be returned by ground shipments and must be marked with the correct Hazmat shipping documentation (visit the product page to see if your product qualifies).

Except in cases where the return is the result of an error by us or the item arrives damaged or defective, original shipping charges are non-refundable and you are responsible for all return shipping costs. Data Marine LLC will not be liable for returns that are lost in transit or returned to the incorrect address; please retain your return tracking information.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, or damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like GPS, Radar, Antennas, Batteries, Epirb, Sart, AIS, Pilot Ladder, Embarkation Ladder, Fixed and Handheld VHF, MF/HF), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14-day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. (except special orders) As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Order Status

You will be able to confirm your order before submitting it. After you submit your order you will receive an email confirmation. If any of the items are unable to ship, you will be notified by our Customer Service team regarding how to proceed. To check the status of your order, log into your account on the site, go to Order History and click on the specific order.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 14 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at info@datamarinesupply.com.

Refund Methods

Returns made within 30 days of purchase will be refunded with the type of payment used in the original sale. Please allow up to 14 business days for a refund to be posted to your credit card account from the date a refund is processed.
