Sonar Beacon – 90-day operational life.

Overview

Installed on the fixed capsule of a VDR or S-VDR system. The beacon assists in the recovery of the capsule in the event of a vessel sinking. The PT9 Ninety is the world’s widely-used ULB for installation on protective data capsules attached to voyage data recorder systems. In the event of activation through fresh or salt water the ULB transmits a signal. On ships which are built on or after July 1, 2014, ULB must ensure a regulatory transmission time of at least 90 days. Product Link (click here)
