Embarkation ladders are used for boarding lifeboats on ships in accordance with Chapter III of the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS 1974). The ladder is produced by waterproof material ensuring the long endurance performance. Standard ladder has a length of 12 meters and consists of 36 steps according to ISO 5489:1986. Ropes are chosen Grade 1 Manila rope with minimum breaking strength 24KN. Grooved wooden steps are made of solid hardwood and each steps are secured with aluminum clamps.

- The 4 lower steps of the ladder are optional to be rubber or wooden
- Standard complied : Solas 74 Convention as amended, Regulations III/4, III/ 11, III/34, X/3, LSA Code Chapter 6.1.6, SOLAS Regulation V/23, ISO 5489 (2008), MED.5489 approved
